The Australian Collaborative Education Network Limited (ACEN) is the professional association for practitioners and researchers from the tertiary education sector, industry, community and government representatives, involved in work integrated learning (WIL) in Australia.
InPlace has been a long time and continued supporter of ACEN.
InPlace will be in attendance at CSWE’s Annual Program Meeting (APM) as an exhibitor and presenter, APM billed as the place where social work education influencers collaborate, learn, teach, and grow. The Annual Program Meeting (APM) is the preeminent annual meeting for social work educators, students, deans, and directors worldwide. Each year the APM brings together more than 2,500 individual members as well as the largest gathering of graduate and undergraduate programs of professional social work education.
The annual User Group Conference is for InPlace academic institutes across the UK and Ireland to share best practices in employability and placement management.
The 2019 sixth iteration Annual UK User Group in Manchester, England was themed Best practice user cases – employability and placement management. The 2019 User Group hosted over 100 delegates from all over the UK and the Republic of Ireland representing 40+ Universities, it is the largest User Group for work-integrated learning in the United Kingdom.

The conference is a great opportunity to network and learn more about InPlace from your peers and technical experts alike. The 2019 conference hosted in downtown Melbourne had over 130 people attending with more than half of Australia’s universities represented, making it the largest conference of its kind down under!
